A massive thank you to our incredible UoB alumni, Matthew Buskell (Google) and Gideon Kay (CTO, Deloitte) who offered this opportunity and organised the day. Also to their colleagues at Google, Emma Osman, Ben Miles and Matt Day for hosting us and sharing their expertise. We also want to thank Prof. Matt Leeke (DPVC Student Experience at the University of Birmingham), Tom Holly (Student Experience Officer) and Andy Hammond (Alumni Relations Manager) for organising from the UoB side, and for taking the time to travel to Google with students along with Madasar S. Shah (Head of Employability).
Seeing our students' technical curiosity in action was truly inspiring. We can not wait to see how they apply these new skills to their upcoming projects next term!
