Thank you for your email and yes of course. Please see this link, www.street-child.co.uk/nepal/, which explains our work within Nepal that maybe of interest. Additionally, please see this page of our website, www.street-child.co.uk/about-street-child-charity/, which gives a broader view of our work within Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nepal and Nigeria working with vulnerable children to help them return to school and provide their families with sustainable financial support to keep them there.

The Street Child talk that I mention in my previous email would involve a presentation of the work we do in our Sierra Leonean, Liberian, Nigerian and Nepalese communities. We would also mention our international volunteering opportunities, including in Nepal if this would be of interest as well as many of our events such as the Nepal Marathon, the Sierra Leone Marathon and the West Africa Cycle Challenge. We also have many UK based volunteer opportunities such as a 'Street Child Volunteer Speaker' role and bucket collections on the International Day of the Street Child (12th April 2017).

Please do let me know if the talk or anything that I have mentioned would be of interest to your members.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Very best wishes,

Email

Dear Sir / Madam,
I am contacting you from the charity Street Child, which works with vulnerable children in West Africa and Nepal to help them return to school and provides their families with sustainable financial support to keep them there. Please see our website for more information, www.street-child.co.uk.
I have been taking a look at your society and see the many events you have been involved with and wondered whether your members might be interested in having a speaker from Street Child come to speak about the work we do in our Sierra Leonean, Liberian, Nigerian and Nepalese communities? We are able to tailor the talk to your interests so could talk more of our Nepalese work if this would be of interest to your members.
Our work has been supported by a number of students and we are eager to speak to more about what we do.
Please do let me know if you would be interested in booking a talk - we can be very flexible regarding timings and dates.
With thanks and best wishes,
Harriet Lewis

Hey Guys,I just got this email. If you are interested! :) feel free to spread the message.

To Purbanat friends,

After a successful event last year, (International Mother Language Day) I would like to invite you again on behalf of Purbanat to join in our celebrations and the promotion of different languages and cultures in Birmingham. It is very important to keep promoting the multi lingual and multi cultural community we have and are very proud of in Birmingham.

In this event, artists from different communities will perform in their own mother language to represent their history and culture. We believe this kind of event will help to bring mutual respect and minimise the gap between the communities.

Your participation can be in any form of art (music, dance, poetry, visual presentation etc) and each group will get 10 -20 minutes for their performance.

Unfortunately we were not able to secure funding this year; therefore we are unable to provide any artist costs. The venue and promotion for the event will be paid for by Purbanat, so we will not be asking for any contributions from the artists. If you think you are able to participate in this year's programme, we would welcome you very gladly and we will ensure your group gets publicly acknowledged, which will help raise your profile.

Please reply to this email by 24 January 2017, so we are able to create a programme with the participating acts.

Details of the event are:-

Venue: TBA
Date: Tue 21st February 2017
Time: 6 – 9pm (subject to change)

Thank you very much for your time and effort you put into last years event, I hope to hear from you soon, and hope you will be joining us again this year.

Kind Regards,
