Our Level 2 Underkeeper Apprentices have been putting their skills into practice with a clay pigeon shooting session as part of their apprenticeship training 🎯

The was part of their Safe Handling of Sh****ns training, a mandatory qualification for the Underkeeper Apprenticeship. All students passed with flying colours and will now progress to working towards their Safe Use of Fi****ms qualification. Developing accurate shooting skills is also an important part of their journey, as they will need to demonstrate these abilities during the practical element of their End Point Assessment.

An apprenticeship is the perfect route for those keen to get straight into the workplace. Find out more👉 https://www.bishopburton.ac.uk/further-education/study/apprenticeships

Our Travel and Tourism students recently took part in an exciting cabin crew training session with Sky People✈️

The students stepped into the roles of both cabin crew and passengers, working through a range of scenarios. This gave them the chance to put their theoretical knowledge into practice while learning more about the essential safety procedures involved in working on board an aircraft.

It was a fantastic hands-on experience, giving our students valuable insight into the cabin crew industry and helping them develop practical skills for their future careers.

Meet, Katia 👋

She said "This programme has given me the chance that I needed to gain employment; without this programme, I wouldn't be where I am today."

The supported internship allows young people aged 18-24 with an EHCP to develop employment skills working with Humberside Police. You will undertake three skill building rotations within different departments.
