f at Blackpool Sixth are delighted that Ofsted has awarded the college ‘Outstanding’ status once again. This follows a full inspection of the college in December 2021. The report is full of praise for the college, its students, staff and governors. The inspectors said that, ‘Students find the college a truly aspirational place to learn’ and praised the ‘calm, professional and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe and can flourish.’

✨ From striking designs to standout performances, last week’s Blackpool Sixth Fashion Show was an amazing showcase of student creativity and talent!

Our BTEC Fashion, Marketing and Promotion students worked incredibly hard to bring the event together, creating an evening full of innovation, confidence, and style at the Halliwell Theatre 👗🎭

🌟 Creativity took centre stage last week at the Blackpool Sixth Fashion Show in the Halliwell Theatre!

Our BTEC Fashion, Marketing and Promotion students showcased an incredible evening of original designs, imaginative concepts, and the passion and dedication that goes into bringing a fashion show to life 👗✨

Last night our Upper Sixth BTEC
Music students performed their final gig at Backstage in Cleveleys - and what a night it was!

Watching them take the stage one last time was incredibly proud-making. Over the past two years these students have shown such dedication, creativity, and hard work.

Teachers Ash and John would like to say a huge, heartfelt thank you for being such a fantastic, proactive and hardworking group of musicians. It has been an absolute privilege to teach you.

We wish you all the success in the world for whatever comes next. Go make some noise!
