This , for , we caught up with Alison Bolton, CEO of Bolton-based technology business Invisu, to hear about her experience of welcoming T Level learners into her team.

Alison has seen the value learners bring and encourages other employers to follow suit, recognising that the time and support invested is well worth it.

📅 Half-term is nearly here!

A quick reminder that Bolton College will be closed all day and night on Thursday 22nd October and Friday 23rd October for Staff Development and Staff Admin Days.

🍂 Half term will then run from Monday 26th October to Friday 30th October, where learners can enjoy a well-earned break.

We’ll then see you back at College on Monday 2nd November! 💜

🤝 During yesterday’s Foundation YSA project session (12pm–1pm), Back Up North West visited Bolton College to introduce this term’s homelessness youth social action project.

Learners explored the challenges of homelessness, the support available to young people and the importance of raising awareness. They engaged positively, asking questions and contributing to discussions.

As part of the project, learners will organise a fundraising stall, take part in a sponsored walk and raise money to support this fantastic cause. 💜

Looking to kickstart your career in business administration? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice based in Wigan, WN2!

📍 Location: Wigan
⏰ Hours: 39 hours per week (Saturday mornings, 9am–12pm, required after the first three months)
