One hundred first-year School of the Arts students from across all disciplines have come together to create Worktown Revisited, a contemporary response to the 1937 Mass Observation. The landmark social history project, which centred on Humphrey Spender’s photography, is showcased at Bolton Museum and Art Gallery and the University of Bolton is home to the Centre for Worktown Studies. The University of Bolton students’ work is on show at Crompton Place Creative Hub and Exhibition Centre, Mealhouse Lane, Bolton, BL1 from Friday May 20 until 16 June 2016. It is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 3pm.

A selection of student's work from the Worktown Revisited exhibition is going up in the main reception area of Senate House, The University of Bolton. The streamlined version will be up for a week - so if you missed it, or failed to pick up a Worktown Newspaper, come along from Wednesday 6th July!!

A huge well done, again, to all the first year students involved in Worktown Revisited! A pop up exhibition on campus should be going up in early July... So for those that missed it, for family and friends that couldn't make it, there may be a little more time to catch this fabulous show.
