Kings Bournemouth, originally opened in 1957 as a language school, is now an established international college offering both English language courses and academic pre-university courses across two fantastic campuses in central Bournemouth. For academic students, GCSE, A-level and Foundation courses are available with start dates in September and January. Kings Bournemouth students will benefit fro

Outside of class, students will have the opportunity to take part in a varied academic enrichment programme with activities on offer including sports clubs, Debate Club, Student Council, Kings Enterprise, and much more. All students are assigned a dedicated UCAS Counsellor to provide one-to-one guidance throughout the university application process. We also have additional specialist university preparation programmes for students aiming for Oxbridge or Medical schools. Our academic programmes have a proven track record of success, with Kings students having been accepted to each of the UK Top 30 universities in the past. We also have close partnerships with universities including Bristol, UWE, Kingston, and a number of medical schools to offer guaranteed pathways to these prestigious institutions for Kings students. 86% of our A-level students received offers from Top 20 universities in 2020. English language programmes for adult students aged 16+ are also available year-round at Kings Bournemouth. Choose from Intensive or Compact general English, or specialist options such as exam preparation (IELTS or Cambridge English) and English Plus International Business. Our English courses are available with weekly start dates and suitable for students of all language levels, nationalities, and backgrounds. We're proud to welcome students from both the local area and from many other countries around the world to offer all our students a truly international educational experience. School facilities include an on-site cafeteria; science labs; Computer Learning Centre; welcoming reception area; well-equipped classrooms with interactive whiteboards; outdoor sports courts for basketball, tennis, football and more; table tennis tables; a large indoor activity hall. A number of student accommodation options are available close to the school for students who need it, the most popular being the Charminster Residence, offering single and twin en suite accommodation with on-site catering provided for students aged 14-18. We also have 2 additional residences located in the town centre for students aged 18+, and additional accommodation available during the Summer period. Homestay accommodation — living with a local family — is also available year-round. The school is located across two sites — the Braidley Road campus, and the St Peter's Quarter campus. Kings Bournemouth’s Braidley Road campus is located in an attractive residential area, close to the city centre. Consisting of two large buildings, it is the main teaching and administration centre, and is surrounded by gardens with lawns and patios. Peters Quarter is located in the heart of Bournemouth city
centre. Occupying the entire top floor of a centrally located building, it has been
entirely refurbished to provide an ultra-contemporary loft feel, complete with exposed brickwork, steel columns and ceiling. Its central location offers easy access to the facilities and amenities of the city centre.
