Make someone else happy today, and a feeling of self-fulfilment will follow naturally.

Once a group of 500 people were attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each person a balloon. Each person was then asked to write their name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.

The people were then let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written on it within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.

At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Then, the speaker asked each person to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

The speaker then began, "This is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness. And this is the purpose of human life...the pursuit of happiness."

Hello everyone, Pete here. Just trying to follow up on a couple of past students to give them some possible £25 bonuses. Please could you contact or share this with the relevant people (because one day it will apply to you too). Could CHARLENE SWEET, JOSHUA SAUNDERS, HARRISON ARCHER and CHRIS COLE please let us know whether they have WORKED, STUDIED or LIVED INDEPENDENTLY for 4 weeks since their end dates. If they have, £25 will be posted to them :)) thanks!

Hope you are doing well, but please can you come in and finish your Hospitality - Unit 16. This is the smallest unit we have studied so far and it concludes your workload. Please note, without this you will not achieve your Diploma - SO COME IN A FINISH IT KIMMERS !!!!!!!!!

Hello all
Just a quick note- we are in the process of creating a monthly newsletter for all past and present students- what we would like is to receive news about your experiences, lives etc so as to keep our community updated and in contact. Please write in or phone us with your news - as we would like to share this with EYS students past and present!
Also, Thursdays are going to be Toasted Cheese Thursdays! All proceeds shall go towards the revamping of the College- it has become quite dated and in urgent need of colour and some energy to suit its occupants! So support this venture and lets get some colour into the Centre! Keep warm and hope to hear all your great news!
and Congratulations to Hanan who has been our first student to complete her Diploma, Certificate and Award and Work Experience! Well done! I do hope you finally do bring in your consent declaration from your Dad! hahahaha ###
