βš–οΈπŸ‘ Our T Level Legal students had a fantastic experience today taking part in a mock trial at Field Seymour Parkes Solicitors!

The students stepped into the courtroom environment and put their legal knowledge into practice by acting out a mock trial, demonstrating impressive teamwork, resilience and confidence throughout. 🌟

A huge thank you to Matt and Alanis for welcoming our students and providing such a valuable insight into the legal profession.

Experiences like these help bring learning to life and give students the opportunity to develop the skills they'll need for their future careers.

Well done to everyone involved! πŸ‘

🎨✨ Celebrating creativity and achievement! βœ¨πŸ“Έ

On Tuesday evening, our Creative Arts students welcomed friends, family and special guests to their annual Art and Photography Exhibition Private View.

The refectory at our Church Road campus was transformed into a vibrant gallery space, showcasing an incredible range of student work, including paintings, photography, fashion, graphic design, illustration, interior design, mixed media pieces, models and pyrography.

We were delighted to welcome The Worshipful the Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest Council, Councillor Peter Frewer, who presented awards to a number of our talented students.

A huge congratulations to all our award winners and to every student who exhibited their work. We are incredibly proud of your creativity, dedication and achievements.

🌟 Introducing The Glade 🌟

We're delighted to announce the official name of our new SEND Lifeskills and Vocational Hub in Wokingham: The Glade.

Activate Learning is working in partnership with Wokingham Borough Council to develop a new Post-16 SEND and Alternative Provision hub called The Glade, due to open in September 2026.

More than just a name, The Glade reflects the vision, purpose and culture we are creating for our learners – a place where they can belong, build confidence, connect with their community and aspire to a future of their choosing. πŸ’™

Located in the beautifully repurposed former library building on Denmark Street, The Glade will provide a specialist learning environment designed to support young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) as they develop independence, employability skills and aspirations for adulthood.

✨ The centre will feature:
β˜• A commercial cafΓ©
πŸ› οΈ Multi-skills workshops
πŸ“š High-quality learning spaces
🀝 Opportunities for staff and students to work side-by-side in a professional environment

Designed with wellbeing, belonging and aspiration at its heart, The Glade will offer a calm, supportive and inspiring space where learners can thrive.

We look forward to welcoming learners to The Glade when it opens in September and sharing more updates as the project progresses.

We're really proud of Creative and Digital Media student, Navannah, who has secured a job on Britain's Got Talent after completing a successful work experience placement. πŸ‘πŸŽ‰

Navannah secured the job after reaching out to the production company behind her favourite show. 🀩

Having grown up watching Britain’s Got Talent, Navannah was given a contact at FremantleHQ, the production company behind Britain’s Got Talent, by her dad’s friend and took a chance after deciding she wanted to go into the film and TV industry and initially secured five days' work experience. πŸŽ‰

After impressing on her work experience placement, Navannah was offered the opportunity to be runner backstage on a temporary basis for the live Saturday shows, which she started this weekend. πŸ‘πŸŽ‰
