Did you know we've been awarded accreditation two years in a row for our safe and vibrant night-time economy? 👏

October is Purple Flag Month and to help celebrate we are shining a spotlight on Bradford's accreditation.

Purple Flag is an international accreditation scheme that recognises excellence in the management of the evening and nighttime economy.

It looks at important aspects of the nighttime environment including:
➡Safety,
➡Transport
➡ Cleanliness
➡ Diversity of the offer.

Thanks to a multitude of partners across the city including, Bradford Council, Bradford BID, West Yorkshire Police, University of Bradford, Bradford College, city centre venues and voluntary sector support organisations, Bradford has been awarded this accreditation 2 years running. 🙌

10 students at the University of Bradford will each receive a £1,000 Brighter Futures Grant. 🙌

Whether it's helping with rent, bills, study equipment or everyday living costs, winners can spend the money however they choose.

All students are eligible to enter, including undergraduates, postgraduates, part-time, and full-time students. You don’t need to bank with Santander to apply.

Applying is simple:
