πŸπŸ’™ The power of opportunity.

Sometimes the most important moments in sport start with a simple question.

During a cricket session at Dixons Manningham Primary, one young students passion for the game shone through. After throwing himself into every catch with enthusiasm and determination, he asked:

"I love cricket... how can I play more cricket?"

It's a powerful reminder that talent, ambition and potential can be found everywhere. Every child deserves the chance to take part, develop their skills and experience the confidence, belonging and joy that sport can bring.

Stories like this inspire us to keep creating opportunities and breaking down barriers so that every young person can access the activities they love.

🌟 Because sport should be for everyone.

At Dixons, we're committed to challenging educational and social disadvantage. Through the power of sport, we're creating new opportunities for young people to develop confidence, build friendships, discover talent and realise their potential.

Starting the year with wellbeing at the heart of everything we do! πŸŒΏπŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ

Students from every year group at Dixons Croxteth Academy recently took part in a series of wellbeing walks, enjoying the chance to get outdoors, connect with others and focus on positive mental health.

From Liverpool's waterfront and Delamere Forest to New Brighton, Rivington Pike and Moel Famau, students explored some incredible locations while taking on new challenges alongside their peers and staff.

Each walk offered opportunities to build friendships, develop resilience and strengthen our sense of community. Whether it was climbing to the summit, navigating woodland trails or enjoying coastal views, students embraced the day with enthusiasm, kindness and determination.

We're incredibly proud of the way our students represented the academy, demonstrating our values every step of the way. πŸ’™

A fantastic start to the academic year and a reminder of the importance of taking time to connect, reflect and look after our wellbeing.
