Notley High School is seeking volunteers from the local business community to support our Year 10 and Year 12 Mock Interview Days on Thursday 10 December and Friday 11 December 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to help young people develop their interview skills, build confidence and gain valuable insight into the world of work. Volunteers will conduct 15-minute mock interviews followed by 5 minutes of constructive feedback, with students having completed preparation activities in advance. Whether you can spare a few hours or a full day, your support will make a real difference. If you would like to get involved, please complete our availability form and feel free to share the opportunity with colleagues who may also be interested. Thank you for helping us prepare our students for their future careers.

Sixth Form Open Evening - 19 November 2026, 17:30-19:30

We are excited to welcome you to Notley High School & Sixth Form on Thursday 19th November to give you an insight into the wealth of opportunities available to students who choose to take their next steps in their educational journey with us in our Sixth Form.

Please join us for the evening to learn more about our excellent facilities, hear about the extensive array of subjects on offer [A Level and Vocational options] as well as learning more about the Enrichment and Extra-Curricular opportunities.

The evening will be an excellent opportunity to meet staff and students from the sixth form and to get a feel for what your time with us will be like. Additionally, during the evening there will be a talk from the Headteacher and the Head of Sixth Form at 18:30.

We are a welcoming community, with excellent pastoral provision and strong academic opportunities in a supportive environment that enables our students to thrive.

UCAS Discovery Fair

Our sixth form students recently attended the UCAS Discovery Fair, where they engaged with a wide range of universities and apprenticeship providers. The event provided valuable insights into post-18 pathways and gave students the opportunity to ask questions and gather information to support their future decisions.
A highly worthwhile experience for all involved.

Free ACL SEN Family Learning courses for April.

Designed to support parents and carers in strengthening their children’s wellbeing, confidence, and learning journey. This April, ACL are placing a special focus on their Introduction to Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA) workshop. EBSA continues to be an increasing concern for many families and schools, and this supportive session helps parents understand what EBSA looks like, why it happens, and gentle ways to help their child feel safer and more confident about attending school.
