Congratulations to JoAnn McGregor (Professor of Human Geography) for her leading involvement in the repatriation of 45 objects from Brighton Museum's C19th ethnographic collection to Botswana. This is the outcome of JoAnn's collaborative research in the Making African Connections project.

Return of collection was requested by Khama III Memorial Museum in 2022

Congratulations to Ushehwedu Kufakurinani (Geography/International Development) whose first Shona anthology “Hanzi Huchi Hwenduri: Kubva mukati kati” (Poetry Sweet as Honey: Down to the core) has been nominated for 'Outstanding First Published Literary Work' by the NAMA (National Arts Merit Awards) in Zimbabwe.
