This fantastic picture was taken on Gwanaksan Mountain, South Korea by Mechanical Engineering student Stan, who attended Seoul National University in 19/20.

He stated that ‘Climbing this mountain was one of my favorite things to do in Korea because despite the peak being only 2 hours of hiking away from my dorms it shows so much of what is interesting and appealing about Korea. On a clear day you could see the entirety of Seoul from the peak. Along the way you can wonder through quiet forests that change throughout the seasons, and by the end of the hike you will have seen the culture and history of Korea in the form of peaceful Buddhist temples and hermitages as well as the bunkers and anti-air radar built as defense against North Korea’.
If you’d like to experience study abroad in 21/22, there is just one week left to submit your application form. Information on how to apply can be found in our bio.
