Last event of the academic year!

Join us on the 24th May in your best outfit and eyeliner for a night of food, live music and celebration of the end of another academic year and to welcome in our new committee! Thank you everyone for making this year one of our most fun years to date!! It was so nice to see so many familiar and new faces at our events, and what a formal that was 🤘🤘

From the 2023/2024 committee, we're so so glad to have had the opportunity to create some wicked events, with a bigger focus on live music, and we can't wait to see what the incoming committee has in store for you all 🖤

Get your fanciest clothes, your platforms and eyeliner, and get ready to live it large at this years Rocksoc Formal! Expect live music, tasty food, and excellent vibes 🤘

This years formal is being held at , a fantastic bar with a riverside view and terrace ☀

The following bands will be performing 🎶





We will be heading to Break Stuff at afterwards!

Ticket information:

Members: £22

Non-Members: £25

Your ticket includes the cost of your meal and a drink upon arriving! You will have the choice of vegan, vegetarian and meat for the food, and a cider or beer for the drink 🍻

The deadline to buy your ticket is the 23rd MAY

Come along and vote for your 2024/2025 committee!! 🗳

Grab a cheap pint, and get ready to listen to this year's candidates as they tell you why they're suitable for their chosen role. 🍻

At the end of the speeches you will vote for who you want in committee and we will then announce the results at the end. 😎

Voting will be done in person via a Google form, but if you're unable to attend, you can also vote this way, we will send the form to you via email. You MUST have membership to vote, we will be checking on the day as we count them.

JOIN THE COMMITTEE!! 😁

This is your chance to make an impact on the future of Rocksoc 🤘🤘

The time has come for a reshuffle of our committee - the roles on offer are:

President
Vice-president
Secretary
Treasurer
Equality and Diversity secretary
Events secretary
Social secretary

Fill out the form to apply for a role/roles - the deadline is the 12th April! 📄

In this form we ask that you provide small manifesto for the role/roles you're applying for - this will be shared with all members via email before the AGM.

We will be holding our AGM at the Balloon Bar on the 15th April at 6:30pm. At this event, you will give a brief speech as to why you fit your chosen role, and the members present will vote for each role.
