We had the pleasure of recording CfM’s 2025 Battle of the Bands winners on Monday at Real World Studios with lili and Sulé with Killing Time. It was such a wonderful day of music making, mic testing, roof shaking, drum bashing and beautiful singing with Maisy Preece manning the desk assisted by Xav and Sean.

We could not be more proud of the amazing work that our students have done in this room and we can’t wait to share the music made by some of Bristol’s finest musical talent.

We will be on the look out for UWE student bands for the 2026 Battle of the Bands, the winners of which get a professional recording session. So, watch this space and get practicing!!

miracle will be performing at the Bristol Beacon today for the UWE Bristol graduations.

Miracle is a talented and graceful pianist at UWE who has been using the Centre for Music throughout her time at UWE Bristol. She plays a wide range of classical music creating a beautiful atmosphere and elegance to every event she performs at.
At the CfM, she has grown into a professional musician that is committed to performing at the highest level and we feel immense pride in seeing her on the big stage in the Beacon once again.
If you are attending the graduations, why don’t you make your way to the hall before the ceremony to see Miracle play?

Ocean Hui will be performing at the Bristol Beacon today for the UWE graduations.
Ocean is a wonderfully talented pianist at UWE. He plays at a professional level as well excelling in his first year of Diagnostic Radiography.
Here at the , we feel immense privilege to have musicians like Ocean come through our doors.

Gareth is just letting you all know that CfM will be temporarily closed on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th of June this week.
This is due to the expected heatwave. Please stay cool and hydrated out there. Look after yourselves and we will see you Friday :)
