UWE Volunteering Volunteering is a fun, worthwhile and rewarding opportunity. Why?

You can learn new skills and gain fantastic work experience, whilst making a positive difference in the local community. In partnership with The Students' Union, UWE Volunteering helps students and staff to give their time for free and help out in the local community. To gain new skills and experiences whilst helping local charities and organisations provide vital services and community provisions.

Volunteering is about making a difference, learning new things and having new experiences, doing something you enjoy, meeting people and challenging yourself. It’s great for your employability because you can learn new skills and get some great work experience. Volunteering can be doing something for a day, once a week for a term or regularly over a whole year.

So what are you looking for? We run on-campus volunteering schemes and also advertise opportunities across the city. There is a lot of choice; it depends on when you are free, how much time you have to give, what you are interested in and where you want to volunteer!
