Our college Principal, Steve Finamore, has written a set of accessible study guides on the book of Romans for BRF (Bible Reading Fellowship). These studies have been written from Paul’s perspective. As Steve explains, ‘I hope that this way of doing things will make Paul, his greatest letter and his patterns of thought a little more accessible.’ You can read each chapter as it published on the BRF website and can download them for easy access. https://www.brf.org.uk/product/romans-unwrapped/

A couple of weeks ago our Children, Youth & Families students had their final block week for the year. The course is taught through five block weeks throughout the year, and the students complete portfolios of their work. In their last block week they are learnt about theology and development in childhood and adolescence.

Clare is our wonderful course coordinator, and she uses teaching methods that are holistic and creative. She’s passionate about seeing God move in children, youth & families and is an advocate for hearing the voice of children in all areas of our lives. Clare is an active member promoting change and inclusion for children, youth, and families in her local council, schools, and churches. She also loves cycling and camping!

Dr Stuart Murray-Williams is the founding director of the Anabaptist Study Centre, which is based at our college and was launched in 2014. Stuart recently taught a module on 'Biblical Peacemaking', drawing on Anabaptist history and tradition. MA modules are taught online so can be accessed all over the world; the next module available to audit will be in Nov 2022, titled "Anabaptist Origins and Distinctives" - a great place to start. In recent years the Anabaptist vision has inspired Christians by offering fresh insights on peace and justice, faith and politics, hospitality and community, church and mission, discipleship and biblical interpretation.
