The University of Bristol has in excess of 6,000 staff, 25,000 students and occupies just over 300 buildings. Our operations naturally have a significant local, national and global environmental impact. The role of Sustainability is to reduce this impact through implementing environmental improvements. This helps to conserve energy and water, save money, make finite resources last longer and help

reduce pollution and our contribution to climate change. Like this page for the latest news, events and opportunities to get involved with the University of Bristol Sustainability team. Over 1,600 young people across Bristol are participating in Climate Action Survey to help inform city-wide decision-making.

91% of responses are currently from school-age participants, and  would really love to hear more from 18- to 24-year-olds.
