🚨 CASE STUDY ALERT! 🚨

Large workplaces need lighting that supports lots of different moments in the day.

At The Forge in Woking, we helped deliver a bespoke CAT A office lighting scheme as part of the £13.5m redevelopment of 43 Church Street West.

The building needed to work for occupiers, visitors, cyclists, collaborators and teams moving between open office floorplates, the atrium, café, yoga studio, cycle facilities and shared circulation spaces 💡

We used our slim 50mm Rio Suspended linear profile across the floors, supported by lux level and unified glare rating calculations to achieve good light distribution, low glare and a consistent design language.

It is a strong example of how we design lighting for different user needs at once, balancing workplace comfort, movement, collaboration, wellbeing and architectural impact ✨

For us, good lighting helps every part of a workplace feel right for the people using it.

From our lighting team: Pendant Clusters and Multi-Drop Ceiling Roses: How to Plan Them

A pendant cluster hangs several pendants from one wide ceiling rose; plan three to seven drops at staggered heights, keep the lowest at least 2. 1 m above the floor (or 75 cm above a table), and use a rose sized for the number of cables.
