IMPORTANT INFORMATION AFFECTING YOUR LESSONS THIS WEEK!

Due to a leak on the second floor of Passage Street, a number of classrooms are out of action.
All lessons/tutorials are still running but the location may have changed. Some sessions in DC01/PS01 may also be affected by changes.

Please check your Celcat calendar before 9am tomorrow to ensure you turn up to the right places.
You can do this by logging into https://bristol.bimm.co.uk/calendar with your BIMM username and password.

Some sessions have been moved to the Kings Centre (a.k.a Deaf Centre) and the E5 Church on Jamaica Street. You will be emailed a map/directions to these temporary classrooms.

Some journey times between lectures may be affected and you will be excused from any resulting lateness.
We are working to fix this issue as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience and co-operation.

Have you been struggling with attendance and engagement on your course? Do you have questions about how to get back on track?

This event is designed to offer you access to your course leaders and student support team along with IT support for practical questions about managing your access to the college systems.

It's a drop-in event on Friday 27th of January from 2-4pm in the Boardroom, Floor 3, Passage Street.

All welcome. Come on up for a tea/coffee and talk to us.

You are not on your own and we will do everything we can to help you have a successful and positive time at BIMM.

Hello everyone!

We hope you’re all getting back into the swing of things here.

In 2017 we’ll constantly be aiming to improve how we support you here at BIMM but it’s also important that you support each other.

Students at BIMM have mentioned to us that there are no societies or social groups operating at the moment. We are aiming to rectify this issue by possibly hosting student led groups, meetings and discussions after 6pm in Passage Street on weekdays.

We want to give you the space and resources to run these groups yourselves so if you have any ideas for groups you could set up and run here at BIMM please let me know in an E-mail and we can look into getting these set up.

Some ideas we have already had include:

• BIMM politics group
• BIMM feminist group
• Band networking group
• BIMM LGBTQ+ group

Please let me know your thoughts on this!
