Women in Engineering Bristol

Women in Engineering Bristol The Women in Engineering society wants to demystify engineering, break down stereotypes and provide engineering opportunities at Bristol Uni.

The society is FREE to join! The Women in Engineering society is designed to support female engineers in the faculty, allow them to meet like-minded individuals and get involved in engineering related events. As many people know there is a lack of women deciding to study or choose a career in engineering. The society aims to remove the mystery from 'what engineers do' and show that it is an intere

sting and rewarding choice for anyone. We hope to combat barriers facing girls and women in engineering and encourage everyone to show their support - after all, this is not just a women's issue. Please feel free to contact the society with any questions, queries or ideas for the society! Email: [email protected]

‼️Calling all our dear society members,
We are encouraging you to take part in this new and exciting opportunity to fundraise for the mental health charity Mind this month!!❤️

This will be a collaborative effort, and you may have already heard about this from other Engineering societies. We will be competing with other societies to see who can get the most points and top the leaderboard by the end of the month!🏆

Mind is a charity dedicated to helping young people and adults improve their wellbeing and promote positive mental health. As we are officially in the second month of the new year, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get active for a good cause! Whether you are a seasoned runner or just starting out, we encourage all of you to take part through either donating through the JustGiving Page in our bio🙏, or by joining our running club on Strava!🏃‍♀️

Let’s put our mental wellbeing first and have some fun!😄
Look out for some upcoming events to get involved with our society very soon👀
