IFEMSOC Summer Celebration Lineup
We’re so excited to announce who’ll be playing this Saturday

First up, we’ve got Justasec - an amazing singer‑songwriter performing a mix of indie, rock and folk covers to get the evening started just right.

Closing the night is Exit Sign, an indie rock band based in bristol.

There won’t be a DJ set this time as we weren’t able to secure the equipment for the evening, but we’ve got a brilliant live lineup and lots planned - it’s shaping up to be a really special night regardless

Set times:
🕢 7:30 – Doors open
🎨 8:00–9:00 – Group art activity
🎤 9:00–9:30 – Justasec
🎸 10:00–10:45 – Exit Sign

🎟️ Tickets are available via the SU website (link in our bio). £5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Next Link, a domestic abuse charity based in Bristol.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you all 💫

just to remind everyone that instead of our usual discussion group or book club tomorrow we will be hosting our annual general meeting where we will vote for members of the committee next year. if you are a member of ifemsoc but don’t want to apply for the committee you can still come along to have your voice heard and vote. if you are feeling uncertain about applying please just give it a go ! being on a society committee is such great experience and isn’t as high commitment as you might think.

come and chat to us at cafe kino on friday!hope to see everyone there :)

If you’re still in Bristol over Easter and need a break from dissertation writing, come along to the Mounira Al Solh exhibition at the Arnolfini.
Al Solh is a Lebanese artist whose work explores themes of identity, gender, trauma, migration, and inequality. We’ll meet at the gallery entrance at 1pm for a walk through the exhibition, followed by coffee at the Arnolfini café, where we can chat about our thoughts and reactions to the artwork.

For Galentine’s Day, we drew and painted the women and gender non‑conforming people who inspire us, our favourite feminists, what we love about women, and what being a woman means to us.
Here are some of the amazing finished pieces. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
