Art History and Heritage Studies is a recently founded department at the University of Buckingham. With expert staff specialising in many areas, we are committed to developing links with cultural and creative professionals in museums, heritage, fine arts management and business. Our courses would particularly appeal to anyone with an interest in buildings, photographs, pictures and their cultural

impact. Students will have the opportunity to develop a sound historical understanding of the main periods, styles, and artists, before progressing to more specialised studies. One unique feature of the course is the opportunity to start with an inspiring introductory term in Florence. Taught in English, the Florence modules focus on original works of art and buildings, including excursions to Pisa and Siena, allowing students to see many Art-works in their original contexts. We invite you to leave any comments, opinions or questions that you may have on our page!
