In all of this darkness, we have been given so much light and we just can’t thank you all enough. Stephen A J Webb and I, just can’t begin to tell you how lucky we feel to have such amazing people in our world.
What has been achieved over this weekend is astounding. We are so grateful and just ask if you can continue to share with friends and family, customers, suppliers, harass influencers, media, famous people…just anyone you can think to keep this ball rolling. We know lots of people have made amazing fundraising plans over the next few weeks and so there is more to come.
You have all already made such a difference to our world. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

We are the Monro ladies and when we are not living and breathing all things 'packaging', we are dedicated to keeping fit (😆🍕) and giving back to the world. We will be throwing all our efforts (and our bodies) into completing the Derby Inflatable 5k on April 13th. We would be so, so grateful if you would support us and the wonderful charity, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People who do incredible work to help brighten the lives of the babies and young people and their families during some of their toughest times. It really is the most worthy cause and even if you don't care about us flying around on endless bouncy castles, risking wrists and ankles, then we would urge that you check out our chosen charity and donate for the most deserving work that they do.
Alternatively we welcome you to come and hold trays of champagne for us at the finish line 🥂

We will be halting all activity on social media from 3pm today and will remain silent until Tuesday 4th May.
We support the call by football authorities to bring an end to online abuse.
It is so heartbreaking and disappointing to see that abuse and threats on men and women doing a job they love have increased.
Social media companies must take action and prevent this kind of cowardly and abhorrent behaviour to continue without consequence.
Please join in and step down for a few days to stand up in solidarity. If you consider yourself a caring person then this effects you regardless of colour.

There are some books that have the ability to feel as though your genetic code has been completely re-written after having read them. This is one of those books.

In ‘How Not To Die’ Michael Greger takes the leading causes of death in the western world and systematically shows the direct links between our diets and these diseases. It took so long to get through this book purely for the amount of times I re-read pages because something I just read had blown my mind. There would be dissenters who will be skeptical of Greger’s anti-animal-products agenda in this book, but, if you realise that every single penny he makes in sales is given away to charity, you can see that the only agenda he is pushing is one of health. If you are a die hard meat eater, I would urge you to read with an open mind.

If you are even vaguely interested in your personal health or the health of your family, you need process the information in this book. It should be required reading for everyone. Or at least everyone who eats food.
