Accordind to the Sun newspaper the government will splashe £44 billion to build 300,000 new homes a year to help tackle the housing crisis.

'Chancellor Philip Hammond commits to new house building drive which will see hundreds of thousands new homes built until the mid-2020s'

'BRITAIN will train up 15,000 new brickies to front a nationwide ­housing boom.'

'The scheme comes as part of a plan to fast-track the number of new homes built and sold to meet government targets.'

'Thousands of trainee brickies will be part of a five-year “flash” programme with “pure, on- the-job training” provided by the Government and major house builders.'

According to the cancellor 'The UK built 217,000 additional homes this year but the chancellor said that home ownership for those aged between 25 and 34 had dropped from 59 per cent to 38 per cent over the last 15 years.'

We really do need bricklayers ASAP!

With 70,000+ people going to watch the fastest bricklayers in the world fight it out so it's no surprise that the reward for the winner is $100,000 in cash and prizes that include a new FORD F-250 4x4 Super Duty truck!
To top it all the final is held in Las Vegas! Just right for spending your winnings!
