Calling all returning students!
We are very excited to welcome you all back in a few weeks’ time, just to confirm teaching will commence on Monday 30th September (please see individual timetable for further information).
This year during induction week, on Friday 27th September, we would like to invite you to pop in to see us to ask any questions about the semester ahead or help with any enrolment issues you may have. Academics/ Personal Academic Tutors will be available in the dome restaurant between 12pm-3pm and look forward to seeing you all.
Another date for your diary is Buxton Experience Day which will take place on Wednesday 2nd October (first week of teaching). The day will include fun activities, a great guest speaker and of course some good food with our compliments. Please note you will be expected to attend this event so please save the date.
Here’s to a fun and exciting new semester and a successful academic year to come.

WELCOME HEROS REQUIRED FOR BUXTON!

Overview of the role:

The role requirement is to ensure new students are welcomed onto campus, to provide signposting information and support, and in some cases to provide tours. There may be a requirement to work outside; all Welcome Hero’s will be provided with a t-shirt/hoody whilst on shift, which they will be required to wear.

23 September 2019 08:30-15:00, in the Dome

Rate of Pay:

Students will be paid £8.30 per hour, and will also be paid for attending the mandatory training session
