💚 FUNDRAISING!

A massive well done to three of our lads who spent a portion of Saturday selling breakfasts and raffle tickets to raise money for their trip to South Africa next summer! 👏

The lads raised an incredible £2,420! 🤩 A fantastic effort and a brilliant achievement!

The trip, in partnership with GAP Africa, will give our learners an amazing opportunity to experience a different culture, develop their coaching skills in a new environment and explore the beautiful country of South Africa 🌍⚽

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser and helped the lads get one step closer to this once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Well done, lads! What an achievement! 💚

FULL TIME! ⚽

Lipson 5-1 Duchy College 2nd XI

Unfortunately, our 2nd XI fell short yesterday in their second league fixture against Lipson.

The scoreline doesn’t tell the full story, as the game remained 0-0 until the 35th minute before a quick flurry of three goals saw us trail 3-0 at half-time. Two further goals in the second half extended Lipson’s lead, before Spencer grabbed a late consolation to make it 5-1.

A tough result to take, but plenty to learn from as we look ahead to next week!

We go again, lads! 💚

🏋️ CROSSFIT SESSION! 💪

Today at Abs-solute in Launceston, our Gym Instructor Pathway learners had the opportunity to get stuck into a CrossFit class! 🔥

A great opportunity to experience a different training environment and put their knowledge into practice, working through a combination of strength, conditioning, functional movements and cardiovascular fitness.

From lifting and bodyweight movements to high-intensity conditioning, the session gave learners an insight into how CrossFit can develop work capacity, movement efficiency, strength and overall physical fitness 💪

Another great practical experience as part of their journey towards their Gym Instructor qualification! 👏

Thank you to the guys at Abs-solute as always for putting on an invaluable experience!

🚨 FULL TIME! 🚨

⚽ PAFC Newton Abbot 'A' 6-4 Duchy 1st XI

Our 1st XI unfortunately just fell short in their final league placement fixture today in a game packed full of goals away at Newton Abbot.

Our goals came from Riley Milnes x2, Zac Newberry and Liam Samways 👏

🎥 The Veo is back! Highlights will be published over the coming days, so keep an eye out for those! 👀

⭐ MOTM – Riley Milnes
A fantastic all-round centre-forward performance from Riley, holding the ball up, running in behind and capping off his display with two excellent finishes! Well done Riley! 💪⚽

⚽ Girls XI 1-1 PAFC Post-16 Foulston Park

Our Girls were held to a 1-1 draw at Foulston Park today, but it was a really positive point on the road.

With an injury and limited squad availability, the girls played a large portion of the game with 10 players, showing fantastic resilience and determination to come away with a result 👏

Well done girls! 💚

💚 Another big day representing Duchy!
