Squire Law Library The Squire Law Library is one of the largest academic legal collections in the UK.

The Squire Law Library was funded by a bequest from Miss Rebecca Flower Squire and was officially opened by King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra on 1 March 1904. Today, the Squire Law Library is embedded in the Faculty of Law and occupies the top three floors of the David Williams Building. It is categorised as an affiliated library of Cambridge University Library and is one of the largest academic

legal collections in the UK. The Squire aims to support and underpin the teaching and research activities of the students and researchers associated with the Cambridge Faculty of Law.

A reminder that the Squire Law Library will be closed over the upcoming Easter bank holiday weekend from Friday 18th April-Monday 21st April inclusive. We will reopen at 9:00 on Tuesday 22nd April!

As MCL exams draw to a close today, the Squire Law Library moves to vacation opening hours. From today until Monday 28 April inclusive the opening hours will be: 09:00-18:45 (Monday-Friday) and 09:00-12:45 (Saturday).

The Squire team will be here throughout the vacation (except Friday 18 April - Monday 21 April inclusive). Please don’t hesitate to contact us via email, phone or in person with your enquiries.

Full term starts today and the library is back to term time opening hours! The Squire Law Library is open from 09:00-20:45 (Monday-Friday) and 09:00-17:45 (Saturday).

The Squire Law Library moves to vacation opening hours from today (Thursday 12 December), as MCL exams come to an end.

Scan and Deliver, and Click and Collect services remain available and the team are here to assist with your enquiries via email, phone or in person.

The David Williams Building, including the Library, will close for the holidays at 17:00 on Friday 20 December and re-opens at 09:00 on Thursday 2 January.

New week, new books! There were lots of new titles added to the library print collections this week and you can browse a selection of them on our New Books Display now.
