Tonight's film is 'The Way Back' at 7.30pm in the Paul Padget room. Kick says it's 'an epic adventure and beautifully shot. Its well worth coming down to watch it.'

'Inspired by an incredible true story, this epic film of survival
against-the-odds tells the story of a group of seven prisoners who escaped
from a Soviet gulag in Stalin-era Russia and walked over 4,000 miles across
some of the most unforgiving terrain in the world, crossing the Siberian
Arctic, the Gobi desert and the Himalayas before finally arriving in
British-ruled India. Starring Colin Farrell, Jim Sturgess, Ed Harris, Mark
Strong and Saoirse Ronan.'

Support Lucy President Janet Todd! Cambridge University Press are delighted to invite you to 'The Real Mr Darcy' on 16th November 2011 at the Cambridge University Press Bookshop, 6pm until 8pm. Refreshments provided.

Professor Janet Todd will talk about the romantic fascination of Pride
and Prejudice's Mr Darcy. Why has he had such a hold on the romantic female imagination and how much of this popular image was to do with the character Jane Austen created in 1813?
