The team was founded in 2010 as Espiridion Paranormal Research & Investigation Team with four full time amateur investigators based in Cambridgeshire. Late 2010 the team then decided to split into two seperate teams with the two lead investigators each heading in separate directions to follow their own distinct approaches to paranormal investigations. Spiritus Cambridge uk Paranormal Investigations team is a small scientific led team of dedicated paranormal investigators from across East Anglia researching & investigating paranormal phenomena related to hauntings. The team's central office is located in the historic university city of Cambridge; a city itself steeped in tales of alleged hauntings & the paranormal. The investigation team was founded & is led by two Lead Investigators; a husband & wife who are passionate & dedicated to further the research & investigation of paranormal phenomena related to hauntings & ghosts. Supporting the Lead Investigators in investigating the unknown is a team of skilled investigators all sharing the same dedication and commitment in their research & investigation of the paranormal.

It is with a sad heart that I write my final post as the S.C.P.I primary lead investigator & it's founder.

I will look back to its early beginnings through to my final days with a deep fondness.

I can whole heartedly say there has not been a single investigator that has deserved to wear the team's emblem and been a privilege to work with.

For me what awaits....I don't know.

The team has just appointed a new lead investigator. We pleased and happy to announce the return of Craig Batchelor to the S.C.P.I team.

We promised to put some raw unchecked video footage during the investigation of The Redoubt on Saturday. Unfortunately due to mobile broadband signal issues we was unable too.

But we will put the footage up still hopefully sometime today or tomorrow.

Well the team has woken to snow in our home town of Cambridge. A joint decision will be made whether or not the investigation will still happen tonight later this morning after checking the Harwich weather forecast.

Tomorrow during our investigation we are going to touch on the subject of the use of Spirit/Ouija boards in paranormal investigations. Are these devices creditable tools or are the phenomenon produced from them xenonormal; caused by the sitters. Tomorrow night we're going to carry out two sessions: The first under normal conditions. The second with the sitters blind folded

Just over 24 hours until the team's first big investigation of 2013. Anticipation of the investigation is high with a complete change in the way the team is going to investigate & use of the equipment.

For our two new greenhorns: Emma Good & Liam Hearne I hope you will join me in wishing them every success on their first investigation.

Well it's seldom that I feel excited about an investigation (except perhaps the Tutbury Castle & Ancient Ram investigations). However the investigation on Saturday at the Harwich Redoubt has caused some excitement within me as the Team Lead.

The team all seems positive about the investigation & excited which is refreshing to see. Members of the team that actually not able to join us on the night are willing to help with the preparations & the post investigation review.

I really believe this can be the turning of the tide and the start of something great!!!!!!!
