The Møller Institute utilises a distinctive and contemporary approach to learning and development which is based on nearly 30 years of experience empowering organisational and individual growth. All programmes are grounded in applied theory and blended with real life case studies, simulations and scenarios which build on the knowledge and insights of the Institute’s Associates. We build on this pl
atform by incorporating industry and practitioner perspectives from a large established pool of experienced global leaders, thinkers and contributors from across the University of Cambridge. Since its establishment in 1992, more than 600,000 leaders have been inspired by executive development and education programmes at The Moller Institute’s state-of-the art facilities at Churchill College in the University of Cambridge. Our inspiration comes from the connection between two inspirational leaders, Sir Winston Churchill and Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller, whose vision and benefaction has created a unique ‘Centre for Excellence’. Møller Foundation, a Danish institution established in 1953 by shipping magnate A.P. The Foundation makes contributions to good causes, especially those involving national heritage, shipping, industry and science. Mr Møller was keen to support a development in memory of Sir Winston Churchill because of the College’s tradition of excellence in the fields of science and engineering. A donation was made to Churchill College and in 1992 The Møller Institute was established and opened by Her Majesty Queen Ingrid of Denmark.
