Gonville and Caius Music Society (GCMS) Weekly Recital Series - Saturdays at 1:10 in the Bateman Auditorium! (Michaelmas and Lent terms)

Gonville and Caius Music Society (GCMS) is dedicated to the promotion of music-making of all varieties both inside and outside college. A student-run society, GCMS aims to offer a platform for all students within Caius to perform, so if you're a keen instrumentalist, singer, conductor or composer, or simply someone who enjoys listening to fine music-making, this society is for you. The Society run

s an orchestra and chorus for the members of the college, both of which perform, under the direction of student conductors, at the college concerts in Michaelmas and Lent terms. In the summer it puts on some kind of show, usually a musical or operetta. In addition, members of the college and of the general public are all welcome to come to the recitals that take place every Saturday lunchtime in the Bateman Auditorium on I staircase, Caius Court. A less formal outlet for performance exists in the Scales Club, a termly fun evening of musical and dramatic performances. CONTACT:

⭐️Lent Term Lunchtime Concert Sign-Ups!⭐️

We are now welcoming applications for lunchtime concerts for Lent term 2026! These are usually held in the Bateman Auditorium on Saturdays at 1:10pm and we welcome contributions from a wide range of styles and genres. Sign up here:

Our recital series is every Saturday at 13:10 during this Lent Term. We welcome people from any college with any instrument, style and ability!
