What makes a great student experience? Ask the students.

We’re proud to share that Dr Nigel Kettley and Dr Winnie Sin Wai Pui have been shortlisted in this year’s Cambridge Students’ Union Excellence Awards - recognition driven entirely by student nominations.
And in Winnie’s case? Not one, not two, but three separate nominations.

For anyone considering studying with us, this kind of feedback matters. It reflects the teaching, support and day-to-day interactions that shape your experience – not just what’s promised, but what’s consistently delivered.

What makes a learning experience truly meaningful?

For our International Summer Programme, it’s the people. Learners who are genuinely engaged, curious and eager to share their perspectives.

“All the students that are in my class, they genuinely want to be there.”

From the classroom to the wider experience, we bring together individuals from around the world to learn, connect and grow together.

“To join this programme has been my dream… I cannot imagine that I'm standing here on the grounds of the University of Cambridge.”

If you’re looking for an inspiring and supportive learning environment, we’re here to welcome you.

Meet Binita 👋

With a clear goal to grow her impact, she chose to study our Undergraduate Certificate in Strategic Business and Management.

Through expert teaching and a diverse, global community, she was able to challenge her thinking and develop new perspectives.

“The opportunity to learn from expert faculty and collaborate with peers from so many professional backgrounds was genuinely inspiring,” she says. “It challenged me to think strategically in ways I hadn’t before.”

Her studies gave her the confidence and skills to transition into public health, where she now supports programmes promoting healthy lifestyles.

“This course sharpened my strategic thinking. It gave me the tools to make a tangible difference in my sector and the confidence to transition from retail into public health.”

Looking ahead, she’s planning to launch a charity to support girls’ empowerment and maternal wellbeing in her remote hometown in Nepal.
