Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts (CSVPA) is a dedicated arts and performance school in the centre of Cambridge. We offer Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Foundation & Diploma courses across Art & Design, Fashion, Music and Performing Arts. Our programmes include links with the University of the Arts London Awarding Body and Trinity College London. We also have an exclusive partnership with

Hearst Magazines, UK, offering our students the opportunity to apply for a work placement at one of the Hearst UK publications, including, Harper's Bazaar, Esquire, Elle, Cosmopolitan, and more. Alumni have gone on to work for global brands such as Vivienne Westwood and Esquire magazine and been accepted into some of the top Universities and Conservatoires, including progression to Parsons, Central Saint Martins, Kingston University, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, RADA, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of Westminster and many more. How we teach is not only focused on the time our students spend studying with us but also prepares them for when they leave us.

Step inside a world of innovation, creativity and artistic excellence at the CSVPA 2026 Master's Final Exhibition.

This is your invitation to attend CROSSROADS, the 2026 MA Final Exhibition, presenting the culminating work of this year's graduating postgraduate cohort for a three-day exhibition in London.

CROSSROADS marks the point at which distinct disciplines, cultures and practices intersect. The exhibition brings together emerging practitioners presenting a diverse body of work spanning art, design, illustration, fashion and creative communication.

The exhibition is the final showcase of a year of postgraduate study and creative development at CSVPA, offering an opportunity to discover the ideas, practices and perspectives of the next generation of creative talent.

🎓 CSVPA Graduation - The Ceremony

"The future needs creative people like you, and the future is yours."

Those words from Professor Karin Askham perfectly captured the spirit of this year's CSVPA Graduation Ceremony.

Held in the iconic Debating Chamber, the event brought together graduates, families, friends and staff to celebrate the dedication, resilience and creative ambition of our graduating class.

The highlight of the day saw each graduate cross the stage to receive their certificate from Provost Kevin Hart, surrounded by the cheers of family, friends and lecturers who have supported them throughout their journey.

We were also proud to recognise Mandy Doyle with an Honorary Fellowship for her remarkable contribution to arts education and three decades of dedication to CSVPA.

As they leave Cambridge, our graduates take with them not only their qualifications, but the skills, confidence and creativity to shape the future.

🎓 CSVPA Graduation - The Procession 🎓

Keeping with a cherished CSVPA tradition, the Class of 2026 took to the streets of Cambridge in a spectacular ceremonial procession. Led by a live three-piece band, our students, alongside staff, family and friends, walked through the city's historic streets and passed its iconic landmarks before arriving at the Debating Chamber.

From the heart of Cambridge to the start of an exciting new chapter, it was a celebration filled with pride, achievement and unforgettable memories.

New Designers 2026 Award Winners

Congratulations to our talented BA (Hons) Graphics & Illustration students for earning prestigious industry recognition at New Designers, the UK's leading showcase of emerging design talent.

We're especially proud to celebrate:
✨ Uliana (SHUBA), winner of the Affinity Digital Design Award for 'Parallel' an inspiring project that reimagines gym spaces to support parents and children through thoughtful, human-centred design. Alongside the award, Uliana has also secured a professional commission with Affinity.

✨ Shiam, runner-up for the BDC New Designer of the Year Award, whose powerful graphic novel Noor captivated judges with its moving exploration of identity, displacement and belonging.

✨ Jia and Ania, both nominated for the People of Print Award, recognising excellence in print, craftsmanship and visual storytelling.

These achievements reflect not only the exceptional talent, creativity and ambition of our students, but also their ability to create meaningful work that challenges perspectives, tells important stories and addresses real-world issues through design.

✨ MA Fashion: Branding & Creative Communication ✨
A studio-based programme that develops creative, strategic and professional skills for careers in fashion branding, media and communication. Through practical and theoretical exploration of branding, image-making, digital and analogue media, emerging technologies and contemporary fashion culture, students build a distinctive creative practice while creating innovative campaigns and communication strategies for diverse fashion audiences across multiple platforms.

✨ MA Fashion: Design ✨
An intensive, contemporary postgraduate programme that supports the development of an individual design identity while building the creative, technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in the contemporary fashion industry.
