A big welcome to faces old and new! The AMES Library is officially ready for Michaelmas term. We're back to our usual term-time hours — Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. What better way to celebrate than joining us for our weekly banquet of tea, coffee and biscuits in Room 101? Tea o'clock begins today at 3:00pm. We'll see you there!

As you may have heard, it's going to be very, very hot tomorrow!

For the wellbeing of our staff and users, we've decided to close the library for the day (Thursday August 13). We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

You can still reach library staff by email, so if you have any questions, please get in touch at [email protected].

We'll be open again on Friday for another somewhat sticky day!

Phew, time to kick back at last! The sun is out, the birds are singing, and exams are over for another year.

We've had a busy term of book ordering, dissertation binding, printing (so much printing 🤯), and we're now getting ready to settle in for a long summer of behind-the-scenes projects.

The library will be open for the whole vacation (excluding the August bank holiday) - so please come by to say hello!

Starting on Monday, our hours will be:

Monday to Friday
9:00 am to 1:00 pm
2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Enjoy the celebrations everyone!

It's tea o'clock! Come to Room 101 between now and 4:30 pm for your regular helping of tea, coffee and biscuits. This week we also have goody bags and crafts from the Cambridge Students' Union to see you through the exam period. Many thanks to our colleagues for your support!
