CATS (The Cancer Awareness in Teens and Young People Society) Cambridge are recruiting their new committee! We are the Cambridge University branch of The CATS Campaign - a national charity that aims to raise awareness of the key signs and symptoms of cancer in young people. It was set up by a young person who was diagnosed with a brain tumour and realised that, despite being a medical student, he knew nothing about what cancer looks like in our age group. We are run by students, for students, and aim to raise awareness through fun events like ceilidhs, pub quizzes or dog therapy, as well as running support groups for people who have been affected by cancer.
We need you! We need enthusiastic student volunteers to help keep our work going. Applications are now open to join our committee next year. So apply to meet lovely people, boost your CV and help awareness-raising work happen that saves lives.
