Harris or Trump? Is it still too close to call? Will the swing states decide it all? Want to know what the result will mean for Americans and people around the globe?

Come to our panel event on Saturday where economists and political scientists at Kent will share their expert opinions about the presidential candidates and the top issues/debates.

Be a part of this event (booking not required), find out more, and ask your questions about this tumultuous race to the White House.

Do you have a passion for learning - both studying and teaching others?

The School of Politics and International Relations offers a supportive, dynamic and diverse environment for creative research.

We are inviting applications for research scholarships to commence in September 2024.

Awardees of such hold a unique position in the University; they are both registered PhD students in receipt of a scholarship and employees of the University - known at Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs).

Pete here is one of our GTAs, who is currently researching political theory.

So what are you waiting for? Apply by 9th February 2024!

Oh and there’s still time to enter the SEDarc competition too, both links in our bio.

We're a few weeks into term now and societies have kicked off with some great momentum. Like Kent Model United Nations who have been running taster sessions.

'We're glad it had such a great turnout, lots of people showed up like last week and participated in the debate!'

Keep an eye on their socials for all their meet ups if you're interested.
