Two of our Occupational Therapy students (Hollie & Connie) are doing something very worthwhile.... please see their story below and follow the link for more information.

"We would are completing a challenge this week! We are taking part in a ration challenge where we live on the same amount of weekly rations a Syrian refugee is given. I have attached a picture of our boxes!

We just thought this is a really excellent challenge to raise awareness and donations for those living in refugee camps. We also thought as OTs you would like to hear about this challenge too, as we think it’s a really good cause and you might like to learn a bit more about it!

So far we have raised just under 400 pounds and are so grateful and proud of that.

We will keep you updated on how we get on!

I'm taking the Ration Challenge, raising funds for refugees. Sponsor me by clicking the link. Thanks so much for your support!

Very interesting (and we will forgive them for call us Canterbury Christchurch University!)

Hastings Museum and Art Gallery welcomed around 50 children for a day of free activities that introduced them to mindfulness.
