I'm thrilled to be back home just in time to celebrate Eid Ul Adha with my loved ones.
I had an epic time at the NAFSA Association of International Educators 2025 Annual Conference & Expo in San Diego! Met so many amazing educators from around the globe and got inspired by new ideas.
San Diego, you were amazing! The NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo was a blast, with thousands of educators from over 100 countries coming together to share and learn. At NAFSA we learned “Purpose Place
Partnership”
Apart from exploring Sunny San Diego I was particularly interested to network with influential sponsors this NAFSA, including the Ministry of Education Saudi Arabia, Ministry of Education Qatar, and the HCED Scholarship program from the Government of Iraq. These organizations are set to send thousands of students to US universities, fostering global education and cultural exchange. The potential for collaboration and growth is exciting, and I'm looking forward to seeing the positive impact of these initiatives.
What a fantastic start to the day! Listening to the distinguished guest from the international education community was truly enlightening, sharing valuable insights and experiences that left me inspired and eager to learn more Dr. Fanta Aw Ahmad Ezzeddine Pradeep Khosla followed by best selling novelist Pico Iyer.
It was nice catching up with some friends from the industry and getting to know more from them Mukarab Shah of GUS, Willjavian Dawson of SUNY Poly, Tricia Herritt of SUNY Buffalo, Eylem Atakav of UEA UK, Renilde Knevels of Belgium,
Maram Al Quraishy (higher committee for education development in Iraq) & Mashael Alfaleh (Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia).
