The Music Society at Cardiff is a student-led organisation which supports musicians from across the university by providing them with regular performance opportunities and social events. We hold concerts, socials, informal acoustic nights and much more up to forty times a year, and are committed to helping music students get the most out of their time at university. We host a fortnightly Lunchtime Concert series which takes place every Thursday in the School of Music. All Music Society members can sign-up to perform just about anything they like, be it solo or ensemble, classical or pop, serious or not! We have an informal gala around Christmas time and a concert in the Spring Term to showcase the talents of our ensembles. Our regular socials are good fun too, with fancy dress club nights, dinners, concert trips, and more. The annual ball is arguably the highlight of the year, when everyone gets their glad-rags on and we head down to one of Cardiff’s hottest venues!
