Congratulations to Victoria Gill, BSc, PgDip, MSc, recipient of a Learna | Diploma MSc Outstanding Achievement Award.

Victoria received this award after achieving the highest overall grade in her March 2025 Postgraduate Diploma cohort on the Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology in Clinical Practice, validated by the University of Buckingham.

Speaking about receiving the award, Victoria said: "I feel incredibly proud for my hard work to be reflected with this award and feel really excited for the future and the impact I can now create."

We’re proud to congratulate MSc Applied Health Economics student Dr Timothy Quek on the acceptance of his abstract at the European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE) 2026.

The abstract, “Budget Impact Analyses for the Management of Obesity: A Literature Review”, was completed in partial fulfilment of the MSc in Applied Health Economics, delivered by Learna | Diploma MSc in partnership with the University of South Wales.

The work synthesises published budget impact analyses of obesity management across three treatment modalities: lifestyle interventions, anti-obesity medications, and bariatric surgery, examining the tension between the short-term budget impact of obesity treatment and the longer-term cost savings related to reductions in healthcare spending on obesity-related complications.

The abstract has been accepted for ePoster presentation at ECE 2026.
