Another month means loads more exciting events!!!

Starting with our bake sale this Sunday at danceathon - if you can spare a tray of cookies or cupcakes we would be eternally thankful! Drop them at the SU at 12 please!

We have a vegan coffee morning .and.bean on Wednesday! You don’t have to stay for the whole thing nor turn up on time- treat it as a drop in. And you don’t have to be vegan to come!

Then we’re having a quizzing night with - more info coming soon!

THE GREAT CARDIFF BAKE OFFFFFFFF!!! Tickets dropping tomorrow, get there quickly because there are limited tickets and this event is open to ALL STUDENTS!

Finally we are excitedly holding a bake off with to encourage postgrad a to join and feel welcome! But everyone can bake obvi, undergrad or post. Theme: bake your degree!

Tickets will come out alongside the individual posts!

✨THE GREAT CARDIFF BAKE OFF✨

In a record breaking (we presume) collaboration, baking society it gathering 61 societies - plus students media! - for a night of cake, chat and charity.

We are so happy with the amount of people that wanted to collaborate, and as a result are sure the night is going to be special. So if you are a part of any of these societies make sure you are ready at 12 noon on Saturday for the ticket release, because there is only 250 spaces!

If you get a ticket, please bake something that related to your society! Maybe it a checkerboard cake for chess, or a mountain for hiking society, maybe it’s a pun, like Bronze Age brownies or if that is too hard- just bake something delicious!

Same goes if you are not a member of any of the affiliated societies- just bake something you love!

We honestly can’t wait, so get your alarms ready for Saturdays tickets drop!

(All bakes have to be cut up into tiny bite sized pieces so that as many people as possible get to try, and MUST come with a list of ingredients for health and safety)

✨THE GREAT CARDIFF BAKE OFF✨

Back by huge demand, baking society are so excited to share that the Great Cardiff Bake Off is coming back…. Bigger and better!

This time taking place in the Great hall, with three times the amount of societies as last year! Same premise- you bake, we all eat, and 10 people win!

And we have some amazing prises alongside our famous spoons! So make sure you follow @ for updates because tickets (when released) are going to sell out quick!

Thank you to everyone who came tonight- it was amazing see so many of you again and all of your bakes were so creative and tasty!

Hiya everyone! Super excited to say we will be holding a bake sale on Sunday the 3rd November for Dancathon!

However, WE NEED YOUR BAKES! in the true baking sport we would love for you to bake something for a traditional bakes sale and drop it off at the SU at 12 on the day! Please bring it in something you don’t mind leaving with the Baking Committee!

Bakers swap your aprons for some fancy shoes and join the baking society for a night at the

We’ll be at the by 7:00, or if you want to walk with us, outside the CSSL at 6:30! That way you can chat and don’t have to turn up alone!

Tickets are up now- free for members but £3 for non-members (Makes more sense to buy a membership- it’s only £5, not even double the price of this events ticket)! But if you did want to bring a friend they can always buy the non-member ticket for a night out on the town with us!

Make sure you get a ticket because you will get a link in your email receipt for discounted drinks! THATS RIGHT! Free entry, discounted drinks and access to a VIP area! We at baking society know how to spoil you.

Can’t wait to see you all!

As it’s breast cancer awareness month, we thought we would spread awareness in our own baking way! So in collaboration with we are hosting PINK WEEK!

Bring along a pink or chocolate themed bake - and try wear something pink! Tickets are up now, and remember members are free and have a larger proportion of tickets, so buy a membership now and save yourself some money!

Aprons away this week! Join the baking society in the Taf on the 7th from 7:00 onwards for a chat, some cheeky chips and a laugh! No need for a ticket this time either, so if you are still hesitant on buying a membership (don’t be, we are amazing 😉) you can come have a chat with the committee and other bakers first!

Super chill evening, and there’s no need to drink if you don’t want to!

🎃OCTOBER🎃

Last month seemed to fly by! And now we actually have start lectures and learn stuff again. Alas, we have more event this month to see us through the less fun times!

Two more bake offs and two socials! The first being on the 7th in the Taf- no ticket needed and non members are welcome to!

If you still haven’t got a membership yet I would hop on it! It’s only £5 and Members get to come for bake off for free. And if your worrying about ticket limits, members get more ticket allocation to our bakes offs - meaning you are more likely to get in! Plus, did we not mention we have group chat? Because members get access to that for all baking questions, watch alongs and general natter. So get yours now!

✨FAVOURITE WEEK RECAP✨

Thank you to everyone who came to our GIAG! We had such a lovely time meeting you all and trying all your bakes!

🎉BAKE OFF IS BACK🎉

We can’t wait to start the new academic year with more baking, so join us for our GIAG favourites week on Monday 30th!

All tickets are free but you MUST get one (even if your a member) due to high attendance and limited space. All bakers also must bring a written list of ingredients for their bakes for health and safety!

But bake in teams, or on your own and bring your bakes to the globe room for everyone to taste (make sure they are cut up into bite sized pieces please!)

We will post how to get to the globe room on the day so don’t worry! But until then why not come to our coffee morning or fresher fair and say hello!
