Our Teaching Assistant Level 3 apprentices have shown what community spirit looks like! As part of their Social Action Project, they raised funds and awareness in support of Mind Thurrock & Brentwood through school‑based events.

They had the privilege of presenting the funds to the charity in which they received certificates and took part in an insightful mental health workshop. A special shout‑out goes to Amber, who completed an amazing 13 mile walk and raised £500 on her own... what an inspiring example of dedication and compassion!

We've had a fabulous morning welcoming Chris Broadbent, the Chair for Planet Earth Games to our Secret Garden! As the winner of 2026 Planet Earth Games, Chris visited to officially award us with 1st Place and to celebrate individual learners for their success in competing.

The Secret Garden was the perfect spot as it surrounded lots of the challenges completed for Planet Earth Games! Chris enjoyed seeing the eco-friendly space in person as well a tree hug (or two). With sustainability well and truly in our College roots, we're very proud to take 1st Place and excited to keep growing our green success!
