Our students took to the stage in the Voicebox tent, where they shared extracts from books they love and explained why those stories mean so much to them.

Putting psychology into practice 🧠💙

Meet Libby, who studied BSc Psychology and MSc Health Psychology at UoG and now works as a Senior Assistant Psychologist at RTN Mental Health Solutions.

Libby’s dissertation focused on autism, providing a foundation for work supporting families through neurodevelopmental assessments. Since joining the company, Libby has completed a training year and been promoted 👏

Libby’s advice for psychology students? Explore different modules and choose a dissertation topic linked to the work you’d love to do. It’s a chance to show future employers what you’re passionate about 🎓

A busy Day 3 of Gloucestershire Tech Week at FuturePark 💡

We welcomed the county’s cyber and tech community to Park Campus for a day centred on ‘Curiosity’ and how thinking differently can drive innovation.

Sessions covered entrepreneurship, neuroinclusion and building high-performing teams, alongside discussions on putting social value into practice.

It was also a chance for local businesses and cyber professionals to meet face to face and share ideas.

Gloucester Rugby Charitable Foundation is delighted to bring its successful Finding the Edge programme to University of Gloucestershire’s men’s and women’s rugby teams.

The collaboration will see Foundation coaches working with University players throughout the season, helping to develop performance on and off the pitch while creating stronger connections between education, community sport and improved rugby pathways across Gloucestershire.

For Black History Month, we’re celebrating UoG graduate Kayla Williams, an award-winning accountant, businessperson and author of Fearless Entrepreneurship. 🎓📖

Since graduating in 2006, Kayla has returned as a colleague and guest speaker. As one of only a handful of Black students during her studies, seeing the University’s Black student community and support grow has been especially meaningful to her.

Her debut book explores self-belief, resilience and financial confidence to help others take their next step in business.
