One last-minute application led to a year at The LEGO Group 🧱🤩

After completing a BSc in Sports Coaching Science and MSc Marketing at UoG, Ella Holmes secured a year-long Analytics & Insights internship with The LEGO Group.

During the role, Ella worked with data to support business decisions across the UK & Ireland, building reports, creating dashboards and presenting insights to stakeholders 📊 One project she worked on helped save more than 200 hours of manual work each year.

Her journey started with performance analysis experience at Gloucester Rugby and the University netball team, helping her realise just how transferable her analytical skills could be.

“Don’t be afraid if your career path changes along the way. The skills you develop during your degree are often far more transferable than you realise.”

🌳 Pittville Park – perfect for a walk, a picnic or escaping your uni room for a bit.

🏛️ Gloucester Cathedral – one of those places you have to see at least once while you’re here.

🌊 Gloucester Quays & Docks – waterside walks, food, shops and one of the best parts of the city to explore.
