The University is hosting a public lecture about the work of poet Edward Thomas (think "Adlestrop" and "As the Team's Head Brass") on Friday 5th October.

Entitled 'Edward Thomas and Nature...', Dr Anna Stenning will introduce Thomas in the context of the Dymock poets, and will discuss Thomas's experiences of joy in the open air.

It is at 6pm on Friday 5th October at Francis Close Hall in Cheltenham. Tickets are free and should be booked through Eventbrite by following the link below.
