Student Stories: George & Toby 🏎️ 🌎

Third-year sports journalists George Marriott and Toby Nixon covered the first event of the 2026 F1 Sim Racing World Championship that kicked off at DreamHack Birmingham - one of the world's biggest esports festivals - with Aston Martin F1 Team

📷 George is working for the team as a photographer, capturing the action, atmosphere, and behind the scenes of the new season this year

🤳 Toby brings the action to the fans at home through their social media, from capturing content, planning and scheduling, and connecting the audience with the drivers

The sport continues to grow year-on-year with three more action-packed events in April and May hosting the remaining nine of the total twelve races that make up the championship

We can't wait to see what they get up to over the rest of the season 🏎️
