Hello everyone hope you are well 😊 On Wednesday (30th Sept) we are holding a Microsoft Teams meeting at 7pm and we would love as many people to attend as possible! It’ll be an informal chat where we get to know each other and so you gain an insight as to what we are planning to do as a society in the next upcoming weeks. Well done to everyone who has received their results today!! 🎉A huge congratulations to our President Jess and Vice President Julia, all your hard work has paid off and you should be so proud of yourselves!! 🎓🎉
As we say goodbye to some of our members, we hope that your time here at Chester was amazing and we will miss you all❤️

So, last night at the society awards we won Society of the Year! We still can't believe it and are so thankful for everyone that voted for us and the Students Union. It wasn't the awards ceremony that we all hoped for and we would have rather have spent it together celebrating with our members and other society friends but it is still amazing!
Firstly we want to say a huge thank you to all our members who have helped us this year by turning up to classes and participating in all our socials and activities. Every one of you are amazing and we are so proud of all the progress you have made over the past year going from complete beginners when you started to being amazing dancers now!! It's so sad that our year was cut short as we had so many more amazing things planned and it would have been great to celebrate with you all! But we will definitely celebrate when this is all over!!
I also want to say a massive thank you to my committee! Without all your help and support this year we couldn't have achieved all the amazing things we did!! You guys all know how proud I am of you and you have helped the society achieve so much!!
Again, we are so amazed to have won this award which we always aspired to but never thought we would win! This society has made my (and I hope other people's) university experience so much better and I have made so many amazing friends through it! It has also helped me develop so much as a person and I am going to miss teaching you all next year!

Hey everyone,
Here’s a little video we’ve been working on to show that even though we’re all quarantined in different parts of the UK we are still dancing!! Thanks to our amazing comms officer Ffion O'Dell for making the video, it’s so good and I know it took a lot of time!! Since November 2019, Australia has been in crisis due to the vast amount of bush fires. The bush fires have been that severe and as a result has caused devastating consequences. It has been reported that thousands of residents have had to leave their homes for safety. But what happens to the animals? Where do they go?

World Animal Protection works to protect animals from needless suffering in disaster zones. Their aim is to create better lives for all animals.

We asked our members to wear blue and bring a small donation. So far we have raised £30! Thank you to everyone who have donated so far! We will also be collecting any donations on Sunday.
