Students our Creative Industries department have collaborated with young students from River Beach and Summerlea Community primary schools and experts from Sussex Wildlife Trust and Sussex Underwater 📹

Together they have created five amazing short films exploring the ecology of kelp, the history of the local campaign to save it and a range of film and animation techniques.

More than 600 young people worked on the films, using claymation, stop motion and acting.

MSc Physiotherapy student Rowan recently celebrated a significant victory with his American Football team, the Sealand Seahawks. He has now commenced training for their upcoming match in the Czech Republic this November. 🏈

Rowan skillfully balances his academic pursuits with his athletic training, thanks to the support of his lecturers and family. He made his debut in France in 2022.

We are excited to support our Esports students as they participate in the Student Racing League, an event designed to replicate the professional F1 season. As the first university to join this competition, we are entering our second year of participation 🏎️

Hosted by the British F1 team Williams, the race will take place at the F1 Conference Centre and will be live-streamed on Twitch, featuring ten colleges and universities vying for victory.
