Join the Scratch Ensemble for Beauty and The Beast at Chichester Conservatoire!

Dear First-Year Undergraduates,

Welcome to Chichester Conservatoire! As you embark on this exciting new chapter, we are thrilled to extend a special invitation to join the scratch ensemble for our upcoming production of Beauty and The Beast.
At Chichester Conservatoire, we pride ourselves on being a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community where everyone is welcome. Your voice matters here, and we are committed to fostering a space where everyone can thrive and contribute to our rich artistic community.

As part of this ensemble, you'll have the opportunity to perform in some of the show’s most beloved numbers, including "Belle," "Be Our Guest," and "Human Again." This experience is not only a chance to showcase your talent but also an opportunity to meet fellow undergraduates, forge new friendships, and immerse yourself in the collaborative spirit that defines our Conservatoire. We understand that participating in a performance like this can be both exciting and a little daunting. To help ease your experience, we will pair you with a current student who will act as your buddy for this performance. This is a fantastic way to build confidence and feel more at ease as you step into the spotlight with us.

We have performances on the 21st and 22nd of September, as well as the 27th of September (which includes the Scratch element). You are welcome to attend the shows on the 21st and 22nd after you move into your accommodation—ensuring a free show for you. Tickets can be booked here https://www.chi.ac.uk/about-us/events/box-office/ , with students attending for free and adults for £8.

You will be required for a rehearsal on Friday, 27th September (times to be confirmed) before the performance at 7 pm in the Show Room.

If you’re interested in joining us for this exciting experience, please complete the online form https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=EShiMk38hEeAqP2ZHu3ZhxEJAZeIsyxPr9Cj61mfhXxUQTk3UjdZSUhBWURaOVlYNEVFWEk2VEszWi4u so we can send you the score and all the necessary details.

We can’t wait to welcome you into our community, pair you with your buddy, and share in this exciting musical journey together!
Best regards,
Ian
